Last Post

Well today is the last day of class so therefore this is the last post that I will be posting!  I really hope that everyone enjoyed my post or at least gave them the time of day.

As always, I love to share new music with everyone. Music is the biggest influence in my life besides my friends and family, so here is a local band from back in St. Louis that is very talented. The band is called Forever Young and the song is called Out On a Limb, enjoy!

They plan on coming to Salt Lake in the end of Janurary, so if you like this than I will see you there!

I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot this year

Park City

The snowboard club had been dealing with some complications with getting our park city passes this. To shorten up the story, we had sent a check out to Park City the week of opening day and the check did not get there until yesterday, three weeks later.

Well, despite all of the confusion, we are more than happy that our passes had come in.

The Wonders Years Show

Show this past week I went to a show in Salt Lake at the complex.  The band that I saw was called the Wonder Years and they are one of my favorite bands of all time!

My friend had an extra ticket and decided to give it to me and I was beyond excited about it, but anyways the venue that we had gone too was called the Complex and it was nothing like I am used to. I am used to little bars that can hold like 50 people but this place could hold thousands and thousands of people so it was very different to me.

Park City

So, every year I start to get really excited about this time of year. Park City opens this Saturday the 17th!!

The reason that I get so excited about this is because back home I normally start riding in Janurary. Now that I live out here, its a treat for me to begin riding this early.

Title Fight

So on Friday the 2nd, one of my favorite bands played here in Ogden.  The band is called Title Fight and they are from Kingston, PA.

The show was at mojos off of 22nd street.  It started off to a great show until some trouble happened.

Gang Unit showed up because there was "apparently too many people".  They said only 30 people could stay, which ment that about 45 had to leave, including staff and band members.

Title fight was very respectful about it and made some compromises with the police.  They decided to go out back and play acoustically the last few songs.

Snow is just around the corner which means one thing snowboarding!

Last week, Powder Mountain got 42 inches of snow.  A couple of friends and I went up there to do some preseason hiking and it was amazing! Here is a picture of me at the top of the mountain.

On another note, one of my favorite bands, With The Punches, is coming into town here in Ogden! The show starts tonight at 7:00 and it is at Mojos. It cost 12 dollars at the door and 10 if you buy tickets ahead of time. Here is a little preview of tonight.

I go to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, But I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I moved here about three years ago and I love living out here.

I love to snowboard, skateboard, and music.  I will be posting a lot of videos and pictures.
